Giuseppe Sacchi
Bio:

Giuseppe Sacchi has spent his career designing and engineering RF products for communications and broadcast industry, especially as related to the design, production and testing of high power, broadband UHF antenna systems.
He graduated with distinction from the University of Naples in 1976 with a degree in Electronic engineering. Mr. Sacchi has been an IEEE Member since 1994.
Following graduation, Mr. Sacchi was employed at AEG-Telefunken head quarters involved in production of semiconductors. He next went to work for AEG Telefunken in Milan where he was a Product specialist. From 1981-85, he worked as a sales engineer for SECI S.p.A / SGS Ates in Milan.
From 1985, Mr. Sacchi has been with IRTE S.p.A., located in Gallarate, Italy, near Milan's Malpensa Airport. He has been responsible for R&D of a significant proportion of IRTE's product line, which has included antennas, microwave components and electronic equipment, and holds two international patents for industrial inventions in the field of the satellite reception. He moved into a management position in 1997 and currently, retaired, serves as Technical Consultant.
In his role at iTECH/IRTE, Mr. Sacchi has written his own design software (WINANT) for use in detailed design of broadcast antenna system design, to include accurate design of patterns for broadband UHF panel system as well as forecasts of the VSWR of these systems for broadband operation.
